Hi, i’m Naomi Oko-Jaja, a backend developer from Nigeria, who is passionate about developing solutions to complex problems. I have a Bachelors of Science in Software Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University and have 4 years of experience.
I have been opportuned to work on various types of projects with different technologies. Four the past 4 years, i’ve worked as a backend developer using PHP and mainly Laravel. I’ve tinkered with WordPress too. I’ve also acted as team lead / project manager for a number of projects and i’m not just confident in my skills as a developer but also my organisational skills. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing as a developer and tackling new challenges in my career.
I’m someone who is very curious about how things work, and more often than not, you’ll find me reading the documentation of a technology that interests me or just trying out some packages (leading to a lot of unfinished side projects
) . Outside of work, you can find me reading a book, listening to music or just sleeping (i’m as active as a sloth, I should probably change that though 😬)
